Q: Is Kids On Up Psychotherapy accepting new clients?
A: Please click the Make An Appointment link or call to ask if we are currently accepting new referrals. You may also ask to be placed on our Waiting List.
Q: How soon can I schedule an initial appointment?
A: We are careful to schedule initial appointments only when we have availability to see you on a regular basis (usually once per week), and initial meeting are typically scheduled to take place within 2 weeks of our first communication.
If your needs require more time now than we can reasonably provide then we will refer you to a therapist elsewhere who can provide the immediate attention you deserve. If you are experiencing a mental or behavior health emergency, please call 911, go to your closest emergency room. If you are in crisis you may contact your nearest crisis resource, which can be found at http://crisissolutionsnc.org/. In addition, Kids On Up Psychotherapy can usually schedule an evaluation within 48 hours if you are willing to be flexibly with time and understand that follow up may require a referral to a different therapist here or elsewhere who can provide the ongoing services you need.
