JOB OPENING: THERAPIST

This hourly position begins as part-time and grows according to your preference. Additional benefits (retirement, healthcare reimbursement, and continuing education) apply once 13+ hours/week are achieved, and those benefits grow at 25+ hours. Supervision for LCSWAs is included.
Applicant Requirements
Masters degree or higher, and a license to practice mental health in NC (including LCSW, LCSW-A, Ph.D, MFT, LPC), and clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families.
Highly encouraged to apply: Clinicians with group therapy experience, Medicaid credentialed in NC, underrepresented minorities, multi-lingual speakers, and males.
Psychotherapist Responsibilities
Clinician will practice individual and group outpatient psychotherapy. Clinician is responsible for maintaining positive and ethical client relationships.
The clinical position requires that the employee stay within network and uphold appropriate certifications with NC Medicaid insurance plans.
Clinician will be expected to prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports and ensure that all records meet health insurance standards of medical necessity.
Clinician will be expected to maintain confidentiality of records relating to therapist-client relationships and follow standards for all federal HIPAA compliance.

The job of mental health clinician is considered an hourly employee. Weekly hours depend on case load and are calculated according to billing codes charged.
Kids On Up Psychotherapy markets clinicians so as to help build client caseload, and the employee may find it in their best interest to market the company and self so as to professionally benefit from increased caseload. Kids On Up Psychotherapy also provides workspace, client billing services, provider enrollment in Medicaid plans, office space, scheduling and communication software, website presence, internet service, phone and fax, retirement, healthcare reimbursement, and continuing education.
Employees may take up to 4 weeks unpaid time off per year.
